If you've been playing Roblox for more than three years, you might remember a time when any player could upload music to Roblox and use its ID with a boombox in games. Of course, there were some copyright issues, and many songs were removed within several days or weeks after upload. But that was totally understandable, as we must respect copyright.
Overall, music uploading worked well, and it was fun for all players.
In 2022, Roblox decided to "improve" this feature. By "improving", they meant to implement strict music moderation. This improvement took almost two years. Many players called it the worst update ever.
We waited for two years, and finally, music uploading is back. It seems Roblox couldn't make the checking process work automatically like Youtube, so approval may take several days (sometimes less). The feature has lots of limitations and is not as fun as it used to be. But it is what it is, and it's nice to have something that at least works.
